Spotlight on Loreto HouseThe institution of Loreto House distills within its very name the dedication, spirit of service, commitment and care of its founders.Foundress mary ward (institute of the blessed virgin mary) crystallised in the aim of establishment of Loreto House the tenetst of woman empowerment and education.Today we can proudly say that Loreto House has been true to this noble vision ,and much more.. For Loreto, Education does not mean providing answers. It means equipping the pupil with the means to find the answers for herself and within herself. Being a privileged school, it has utilised its privilege to extend opportunities to the under privileged, according to the catholic spirit of service propagated by the nuns for the glory of god. These ideals are instrumental in bridging the gap between the economically and socially privileged and underprivileged. Even with such a diversity of aims and goals,Loreto has lived up to the challenges of modern contemporary education to perfection.Through a variety of academic, and life skill programs and social welfare projects, loreto house strives to instill holistic, physical, mental and moral education in its pupils. Indeed Loreto House has justified its foundresses' vision put forth in her popular maxim "Do good and do it well", and shall continue to do so with each new morning. We pray for the well being of this great institution, which we so proudly call LORETO HOUSE. |
